Experts from the “Roskachestvo – Tourism” certification body have completed HIDENS Hotel’s certification for compliance with the “Traveling with Pets” standard. This marks the region’s first officially certified Pet Friendly hotel. The certification evaluated key service aspects for guests with pets: dedicated rooms and public areas for animal accommodation, hypoallergenic cleaning procedures, clear pet policy communication, provision of essential pet amenities (bowls, pads, waste bags), designated safe walking areas, staff training in animal interaction and emergency protocols, and full compliance with sanitary and epidemiological regulations.

“Krasnodar Krai welcomes guests at approximately 11,000 hotels and accommodations, including 365 four- and five-star properties. Eighty-six hotels operate all-inclusive systems with comprehensive leisure, wellness, and entertainment infrastructure. Currently, several dozen regional hotels meet pet-friendly requirements across Sochi, Yeysk, Tuapse, Temryuk, and Ust-Labinsk districts,” commented Mikhail Zaritsky, Acting Minister of Resorts, Tourism, and Olympic Heritage of Krasnodar Krai.

Certification represents more than formal compliance – it recognizes existing high service standards, particularly valuable given growing demand for pet-inclusive tourism services.

“The ‘Traveling with Pets’ certification confirms genuine adaptation to guests traveling with animals. This encompasses not just amenities but safety, transparency, and personalized attention. HIDENS has become the first Kuban-region hotel to successfully complete this rigorous assessment with outstanding results. We believe such examples will inspire industry peers toward more responsible hospitality,” stated Alexandra Shershnyova, Head of the “Roskachestvo-Tourism” certification body.

The certification provides strategic advantages: attracting affluent pet-owning travelers, enhancing reputation as a guest-centric property, and creating partnerships with pet-specialized booking platforms and tour operators.

In today’s market, certification serves dual purposes – establishing operational necessities while creating opportunities to define service excellence benchmarks. This builds guest trust while propelling industry-wide improvements in hospitality standards.
